Julie Kelleher

Founder & Principal

Julie Kelleher is a market strategy and marketing executive in the education technology & services space, grounded and fueled by direct experience as both an educator and sales professional. She brings more than 17 years of experience in leadership roles at technology companies across product marketing, B2B marketing, sales, sales enablement, market research, and market strategy. Julie has deep knowledge of the K12 and higher education markets, their decision makers, influencers, funding, and decision processes. Most recently, she spent the last two years in executive leadership roles at K12 EdTech companies DreamBox Learning and Discovery Education focused on bringing integrated curriculum and assessment solutions to K12 districts and schools. She established Kelleher Consulting in 2018, providing customized business consulting to leaders across the education technology space.

 

Julie has dedicated her entire career to education, spending the early years as a public school teacher in Atlanta, GA followed by two years teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) to all grade levels as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Ukraine.  She holds a master’s degree in education policy from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, and a bachelor’s degree in history, technology, and society from Georgia Tech. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, two young daughters, and black lab.  When not working or chasing her girls around, she enjoys any outdoor activity she has the opportunity to make time for.

Julie Feinberg

With nearly 20 years of experience in the education industry, Julie has a deep understanding of the trends, intricacies, and leaders in the market. She has held a variety of research, development, and marketing roles and for the last 12 years provided market research, industry analysis, and competitive intelligence for a variety of clients including large publishers, prominent education organizations, education technology start-ups, and nonprofits. 

 

Julie started her career in education as a first-grade teacher in Washington DC through the Teach for America program and recently served on a local charter school board. She has a MBA from Georgetown University, MA in Education Technology Leadership from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.  She lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband and three children. In her limited free time, Julie enjoys volunteering at her kids’ schools, spending time pretending to watch her kids sporting events, and experiencing the Detroit comeback.
